Terms and Conditions

A. DEFINITIONS

“Active member”
A client who is part of one of the three STARWAY Loyalty Programme levels.
“Inactive member”
A client who is no longer part of one of the three STARWAY Loyalty Programme levels.

“Annual Membership”
The period during which an Active Member may use the STARWAY Loyalty programme within one calendar year, starting from 1 January and finishing on 31 December. At the end of each calendar year membership automatically expires and may be reactivated by Pixartprinting starting from the beginning of the next calendar year, based on the obligatory entry requirements, i.e. the number of orders and the value of the orders placed in the previous calendar year.

“Client”
Any legal or private body registered with Pixartprinting and which has made orders on Pixartprinting’s website.

B. AIM OF THE STARWAY PROGRAMME

STARWAY is a loyalty programme specifically designed for Pixartprinting S.p.A., A Cimpress company (“Pixartprinting”) clients who meet the requirements of one of the 3 levels, called Star, Red Giant and Supernova. By joining STARWAY, clients will receive a series of free services including extra discounts and personalised customer care.

C. ENROLMENT, SUBSCRIPTION & EXPIRY

STARWAY loyalty programme enrolment is carried out directly by Pixartprinting.

At the moment of enrolment, Clients will be enlisted into one of the three STARWAY levels: (i) Star, (ii) Red Giant or (iii) Supernova.

After accepting these terms and conditions, Clients will receive email confirmation of their annual membership and will be considered an "Active Member". 

Clients may not have multiple memberships. Every membership admission will be made on an individual basis and will be assigned to one individual only, who will be the sole cardholder.
STARWAY membership lasts a maximum period of 12 months. All new membership admissions will be granted by Pixartprinting at the beginning of the new calendar year.

Active Members who wish to terminate their STARWAY membership may do so by sending an email cancelling their membership to support@pixartprinting.com. After cancelling membership all benefits and advantages will cease.

In any circumstances, Pixartprinting may suspend or cancel STARWAY membership if the Terms and Conditions are not respected or used in an inappropriate or fraudulent way.

D. STARWAY LOYALTY PROGRAMME LEVELS

The STARWAY Loyalty programme consists of three levels: (i) Star, (iii) Red Giant and (iii) Supernova.

Star is the first and entry level; Red Giant is the second level and Supernova is the third and highest level of the programme.

Basic requirements for joining one of the 3 levels are based on the “annual number of orders” in combination with the “annual order value” (the net value excluding cancelled orders and applicable taxes). Membership will be assigned to one of the 3 levels (see table below).

Level Description:

STAR
Clients who between 01/01/2017 and 31/12/2017 placed a minimum of 20 orders, with a total order value greater than 10,000 Euros (net value excluding cancelled orders and applicable taxes).
Both conditions must be satisfied in order to receive STARWAY membership.

RED GIANT
Clients who between 01/01/2017 and 31/12/2017 placed a minimum of 20 orders, with a total order value greater than 30,000 Euros (net value excluding cancelled orders and applicable taxes).
Both conditions must be satisfied in order to receive STARWAY membership

SUPERNOVA
Clients who between 01/01/2017 and 31/12/2017 placed a minimum of 20 orders, with a total order value greater than 50,000 Euros (net value excluding cancelled orders and applicable taxes).
Both conditions must be satisfied in order to receive STARWAY membership.

The timeframe referred to for STARWAY membership is one calendar year, from 1 January until 31 December. For 2019, membership requirements are based on the information from 1 January to 31 December 2018.

The "annual order value” is calculated net of all cancelled orders (orders for which payment has not been made), as well as all orders still pending dispatch. Furthermore, order values exclude all applicable taxes, such as VAT.

After being granted Active Member status in one of the three levels, all advantages and benefits associated with that particular level will be activated.

Each year Pixartprinting will send you an update about your membership dtatus (“welcome”, “confirmation/renewal”, “level upgrade/downgrade” or “membership cancellation”) at the beginning of January, based on the Client’s results from the previous calendar year.

For example, 2019 Membership will be decided based on the Client’s actions in 2018.

The STARWAY level allocation will remain valid until the end of the calendar year, unless advised otherwise by Pixartprinting.

Each year, Pixartprinting will update Active Members' status, confirming their STARWAY level, upgrading their level, downgrading their level or cancelling their membership.

Pixartprinting, at all times, reserves the right to modify the requirements or criteria for awarding membership of the STARWAY programme levels.

At the beginning of each calendar year Active Members and Non Active Members will receive a status update email, informing them of their current status (new membership, renewed membership, upgraded/downgraded membership or membership cancellation for that particular calendar year). All “Active members” will be assigned with new membership cards within 4-6 weeks of the email confirmation.

E. ADVANTAGES AND BENEFITS FOR ACTIVE MEMBERS

Active Members “Star”, “Red Giant” and “Supernova”, regardless of their location have exclusive advantages and benefits as members of STARWAY program.

All promotions and advantages will be communicated monthly by Pixartprinting via e-mail. Moreover, there will be a specific area on the Pixartprinting website dedicated to STARWAY Loyalty Program.

The Specific advantages granted to Active members are:

  • "UserHub" - Call and Email Customer Service. It is a Customer Care specifically created to look after STARWAY MEMBERS. The Active Members will be given a priority via personal call code and put through the operator speaking the language of the Active Member.
  • An exclusive monthly preview of all new products and promotions.
  • Promotions/monthly newsletter/special offers/for a pre-established number of products/to be used for a pre-established numbers of prints. A discount will be placed directly in the quote and will be active only for the "Active Members", who had previously logged in.
  • Sample pack service: every quarter, Active Members can order one or more sample packs for just £1 with free shipping.

F. STARWAY PROGRAMME CHANGES, AMENDMENTS AND UPDATES

All services and promotions for the STARWAY programme are provided and delivered by Pixartprinting S.p.A., A Cimpress company only if these Terms and Conditions are accepted.

Pixartprinting reserves the right to change and modify the STARWAY Loyalty Programme structure, the necessary requirements for participating in the programme, the benefits, offers and all other characteristics of the programme described in these Terms and Conditions. Furthermore, Pixartprinting reserves the right to stop or suspend the STARWAY programme at any time, given that it is a free and promotional service which is not subject to any contract related to individual orders or any other contractual bond between Pixartprinting and its Clients.

Pixartprinting will inform Active Members of any changes related to the STARWAY programme's Terms and Conditions. Active Members will then be asked to acknowledge these changes and receive updates by directly accessing the STARWAY Terms and Conditions on the Pixartprinting website. By continuing to act as an Active Member of the STARWAY programme, Active Members are deemed to have read and understood the changes and modifications to the STARWAY Terms and Conditions.

Service and promotions offered by the STARWAY programme cannot be combined with other current offers; only the most beneficial offer for the Client will prevail.

Service and promotions related to STARWAY programme are not negotiable or exchangable for cash or vouchers, and may not be assigned to any third party.

Pixartprinting is not responsible for any damages or losses deriving from acceptance or implementation of any conditions or changes specified by the STARWAY programme, except for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

In the event of discrepancies or variations between these Terms and Conditions in Italian, and translations in other languages, the original Italian version of the Terms and Conditions will in all circumstances prevail.

These Terms and Conditions are subject to Italian Law.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising from Individuals or Companies which may not qualify as “consumers”, and any dispute, controversy, or claim arising from the interpretation of this contract shall be dealt with by the Court of Venice, Italy.

PIXARTPRO

What is a PIXARTPRO voucher?

A PIXARTPRO voucher is a voucher awarded to you on the first day of every month if you exceed one of four monthly spend thresholds.

HOW PIXARTPRO VOUCHERS ARE GENERATED

How are PIXARTPRO vouchers generated?

On the last day of each month, the final monthly spend will be calculated, and (assuming the total is above the lowest minimum threshold) a PIXARTPRO voucher will be generated. The monthly spend is calculated from the total spent on print jobs that have been paid for and dispatched with a delivery date set for within the same month, excluding any discounts or other vouchers, VAT and postage and packaging.

For example, to calculate the monthly spend for May, which will be used to generate a PIXARTPRO voucher to use in June, only the total amount spent on print jobs that have been paid for and dispatched with a delivery date before the end of May will be considered, excluding discounts or other vouchers, VAT and postage and packing.

When you reach a certain monthly spend threshold and thereby earn a PIXARTPRO voucher, it fully replaces the PIXARTPRO vouchers earned for lower monthly spend thresholds. Customers do not also accumulate the vouchers for previous thresholds upon reaching the intermediate thresholds and the highest threshold. Reaching a threshold leads to the award of a set monthly voucher that effectively replaces the vouchers from the thresholds below.

Can totals accrued on different accounts be combined to obtain a PIXARTPRO voucher?

No, totals accrued on different accounts cannot be combined, even if they belong to the same person or company. PIXARTPRO will only be active on the account you use for the Starway programme.

Where can I check how much I have accrued during the month towards receiving a PIXARTPRO voucher?

In the PIXARTPRO section of the My Account area you can check the current total and total for jobs in progress at any time. The current total displays the total net amount spent (excluding discounts or vouchers, VAT, postage and packaging) on print jobs that have been dispatched with a delivery date that falls in the current month. Your voucher will be generated based on this total if you reach the required threshold. The total for jobs in progress displays the sum of the net totals (excluding discounts or vouchers, VAT, postage and packaging) for print jobs that have not yet been dispatched with a delivery date in the current month. Remember that the current total is used to calculate your vouchers – it is therefore important that you proceed to payment and upload a print-ready file so your print jobs can be printed and dispatched before the end of the month!

Where can I see the scheduled delivery date for an order?

Before ordering

When choosing your product, and before adding it to your basket, you have the option of choosing the estimated delivery date.

Once you have added the product to your basket, and before confirming the order, the summary shows the estimated delivery date for each print job.

After ordering

Once you have uploaded your file and paid, you can see the scheduled delivery date for each print job next to the status of the file by clicking on the order number in the My Orders section of the My Account area.

How can I check whether the item has been dispatched?

Pixartprinting will send you an email when each item is dispatched. You can also check whether your print job has been dispatched in the My Orders section of the My Account area.

What happens if I place the order today (e.g. 28th March) but the products are scheduled to be delivered the following month (e.g. 2nd April)?

Say an order is placed on 28th March containing two print jobs: one with a delivery date set for 30th March, and the other for 2nd April. In this case the first print job, if dispatched as scheduled, will go towards the PIXARTPRO voucher to use during April (assuming at least the first threshold has been reached), while the second print job will go towards the voucher to use during May (because the delivery date is set for April).

USING THE PIXARTPRO VOUCHER

Does the PIXARTPRO voucher have an expiry date? If so, when is it?

Each PIXARTPRO voucher is valid for one month and expires at the end of the month in which it is generated.

For example, a PIXARTPRO voucher awarded on 1st April will expire on 30th April.

Where can I see how much my PIXARTPRO voucher is worth and a summary of my transactions?

You can look back at all transactions connected to your PIXARTPRO voucher and check the amount received that month in the PIXARTPRO section of the My Account area.

Can I decide not to use the PIXARTPRO voucher?

When placing an order, you can decide not to use your PIXARTPRO voucher at all, and save it for a future order. However, make sure you use it in the month it was generated, before it expires.

Can I decide to use my PIXARTPRO voucher only on certain items in an order?

No, the voucher is applied to the entire order. If you decide to use a voucher on an order, you must use it for all print jobs within that order. It will be automatically divided between all of the items. Remember that in all cases the minimum cost of each print job is 1€.

Can I use the PIXARTPRO voucher in conjunction with a promotion?

Yes, you can use a PIXARTPRO voucher on an order that contains items on special offer.

I have recently changed VAT number and had PIXARTPRO credit on my other account, can I transfer it to my new account?

Amounts accrued on different accounts cannot be combined or transferred, even if they belong to the same person or company.

What is the STARWAY programme?

How do I become a member of STARWAY?

Joining the 2019 programme is easy: membership is granted to all customers that place at least 20 orders and spend at least €10,000 on their purchases between 01/01/2018 and 31/12/2018.

How can I check if I have been granted STARWAY membership?

To find out if you have been enrolled onto the programme, simply check your inbox for any emails from Pixartprinting containing your unique codes to access the various services and information on how to use them.

Can I have more than one membership assigned onto the same STARWAY programme account?
STARWAY membership is assigned individually and based on a single account. You therefore cannot have more than one membership.
Can I share my STARWAY perks and benefits with others?
Participation in the programme is on a strictly personal basis, and accounts cannot be shared with other customers.

Does the programme have an expiry date?

The programme expires on 31 December each year.

Can I withdraw from the STARWAY programme?

If for any reason you wish to end your participation in the programme early, Pixartprinting will be happy to cancel all the special benefits and promotions you receive.

STARWAY Membership

How is the STARWAY programme structured?

There are 3 levels of membership - Star, Red Giant and Supernova.
Star is the first level, and the programme's entry level; Red Giant is the second level, and Supernova is the third and highest level. Customers are assigned a membership level based on the programme requirements they reach.

What are the requirements to join one of the three levels of the programme?
The requirements for each level are as follows:

- Star: Clients who made a minimum of 20 orders with a value greater than € 10,000 (net value excluding cancelled orders and applicable taxes) between 01/01/2018 and 31/12/2018. Both conditions must be satisfied.

When does the STARWAY programme start and finish?

In 2018, the STARWAY programme begins on 14 January and ends on 31 December. The terms and conditions for taking part in 2019 will be revised at the end of 2018.

Can I join the STARWAY programme of my own accord?

Membership can only be granted by Pixartprinting, based on set requirements. Membership will only be granted to those who meet the requirements set out in the Terms & Conditions. All members will be notified by email by the end of January 2018, when the programme begins.

Can membership be granted at any time during the year?

No. On 31 December each year we check whether customers have met the programme's requirements, and all new and returning members are then confirmed for the following year.

How can I check my membership level online?

Log in to your account on the website: your membership level is displayed there.

How do I recover my username and password?

To recover your login details, click LOGIN > RECOVER PASSWORD and enter the email address you used for registration. Within a few minutes you will receive an email with the requested information. If you don't receive it, make sure it hasn't ended up in your junk email folder.

When does my membership of a certain STARWAY programme level expire?

Star, Red Giant or Supernova memberships are valid from the date the level is assigned until the end of the current year.

How often will I receive news about the programme?
You will receive monthly updates linked to promotional offers specifically designed for you, together with a summary of all of the exclusive benefits applicable to your membership level.
How can I benefit from the promotions dedicated to my STARWAY membership level?
